​What if I need a gift straight away? 

 

Although many items are made to order, I always have a few items in stock if you need something immediately - direct enquiries welcome. My work is also exhibited for sale at Wild Island Tasmania, a Salamanca gallery on Hobart's waterfront.

 

Turnaround Times and Shipping

You will be advised how long your custom order will take. Please feel free to ask before purchase about expected delivery times, but typically allow 2-3 weeks for custom-made items. Specific requests are dependent on the availability of gemstones and other materials (feathers, insect wings, etc).  

Items will be sent via Australia Post Standard or Express (costs will vary). Shipment within Australia for orders over $350 is free. Orders under $350 are typically around $10.00 for Standard, $15.00 for Express. 

Items will be posted via Australia Post International Standard Mail. Postage cost varies, but starts at $17.76. Please check the Australia Post website for prices and expected delivery times to your area. International shipping for orders over $500 is free. You will be notified of delivery cost. International shipments may be subject to import duties and tax levies once the shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient; we do not control these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We have no control over postal and customs services and cannot be held responsible for delays or for lost or stolen packages.

How is your work environmentally friendly?

 

All the precious metals used in my work are recycled and the gemstones used are typically found and worked locally here in Tasmania by me. I use only very small scale hand digging methods for fossicking so as to minimise site disturbance. Only dead and decaying materials are used in the natural pattern prints. No live insects, leaves etc are used. Tasmanian specialty timbers used to make jewellery boxes are sourced through registered, reputable salvage timber operators.  

 

What is different about your work? 

 

Just as each gemstone and each leaf or feather used is unique, each piece of jewellery is unlike any other. There is no mass production.. My favourite pieces include gemstones I've fossicked locally and hand-worked (shaped, sanded, polished) myself before setting them in silver. I have a preference for natural-state Tasmanian gemstones such as sapphires, spinel and topaz. I try to highlight the beautiful patterns in nature and love to incorporate these details into my jewellery.

All prices are in Australian dollars. If purchasing internationally, the final price will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your credit card or payment service company. Payment methods accepted directly through the website include major credit cards and Paypal. If you would prefer to pay via EFT/direct debit, just drop me a message and I can arrange payment over the phone.

Returns, Refunds & Repairs


Returns/refunds are generally not accepted due to change of mind. If there is a problem with your purchased product please contact me with details. The following rules apply and are agreed upon at time of purchase:

Goods must be returned within 5 business days of receiving your package. The merchandise and packaging must be in its original condition. Customers will be responsible for all shipping & re-shipping charges for exchanges. Cash on Delivery returns will not be accepted. I advise that you send the merchandise back to me using a method of postage which can be tracked as I cannot be responsible for lost, damaged or missing parcels.  All goods are your responsibility until they reach my return address.

Refunds are not guaranteed until the product is assessed for fault. If the item is faulty, a refund will be processed, provided the items are in original condition. Please note there may be delays on any refund reaching your account due to banking delays outside of my control. Repairs to damaged goods are assessed on a case by case basis and will incur a fee. Please contact me to begin a repair.

Sizing

The safest bet to work out your Australian ring size is by going into a local jeweller and having your size taken. Don't forget to mention the type of band you will be purchasing... thin, wide etc (I suggest erring on a slightly bigger size for wider bands). Due to the design components of many of my pieces, resizing is often not possible, except for some of the plainer metal bands. Anything containing gemstones is generally not able to be resized. If it is possible to do a resize, additional fees will apply. Resizing requests are only available if I am notified within 5 business days of receiving your package and it may take several weeks to have a new size made. Customers will be responsible for all shipping & re-shipping charges or exchanges. Please contact me to discuss your options for a specific item.
