This very unusual opaque aquamarine stone (also known as blue beryl) I found on Flinders Island in Bass Strait and have shaped into an oval cabochon. It has light blue, white and yellow tinges. Have never seen another stone like it. Thought about keeping this one for myself but decided I have enough jewellery! The stone has been set in recycled sterling silver and placed on a solid silver neck cuff. You won't need other jewellery when wearing this piece - it's meant to be noticed. As usual, I have left some makers marks so it's clearly handmade - I don't like my pieces to look overly finished, hope you like that too!
